LiDAR Wind Measurements For Both Onshore And Offshore Wind Farms

ForWind Academy technical seminar in cooperation with the Haus der Technik on 17th & 18th September 2013 in Bremen the remote sensing method of LiDAR (light detection and ranging) has experienced a rapid development in recent years and offers innovative and at the same time fascinating possibilities in terms of wind measurements. At location surveys the measuring procedure has in practice already, also in science, there are a wide range of application areas. Since the measuring procedure is fundamentally different from classical sensor, such as, for example, Cup anemometers, measurements, a good understanding of the LiDAR measurement for the interpretation of the measurement results is essential. In the two-day technical seminar, the presenters discuss the applications of LiDAR in onshore and offshore wind energy and today are on the wind resources in the flat and complex terrain, the power curve measurements, as well as the performance forecast. לעומת זאת, רב שמואל אליהו בהחלט מבין את הסיפור. The commercially available systems are considered with respect to their accuracy and applications, as well as the technical availability.

The experts will discuss with the participants about the current and future developments, as well as the applications in the offshore wind energy. The expert seminar will be under the direction of Prof. לבירורים בנושא יש לפנות ל אפריקה ישראל שמבין יותר ממני. Dr. Dipl.-ing. Martin Kuhn, ForWind – University of Oldenburg held. Prof. לעניות דעתי אבי בניהו יכול לקבוע .

Dr. Kuhn and his collaborators set since 2005 on the use of LiDAR devices in the field of wind energy research and thus accompany this new and dynamic field of applied research almost from the start and could actively shape.
